THEODORE ROOSEVELT ONLINE CYCLOPEDIA CREATED BY NEWMEDIA PUBLISHING
Theodore Roosevelt’s Cyclopedia, Gubernatorial Papers and speeches have been converted into an online web-book from The Theodore Roosevelt Centennial Gubernatorial CD by Newmedia Publishing. This web edition is now on the association’s web site for everybody interested in learning more about TR’s achievements, listening to speeches delivered by him, or using quotes from his works.
This web edition includes the Theodore Roosevelt Cyclopedia, last published in 1989 and two volumes of TR's gubernatorial papers, Public Papers of Theodore Roosevelt, Governor 1899 and Public Papers of Theodore Roosevelt, Governor 1900, both of them published 100 years ago. There are only a few copies left of these books, which are very important in understanding not only TR's years as Governor of New York but also his entire career and his philosophy of life and government. The Cyclopedia gives Roosevelt's thoughts and opinions in his own words, alphabetically and by subject, and contains well over 4000 quotations. Three major speeches from Edison's original cylinder recordings have also been digitized the first time for this edition.
