An authentic story of undying love and the will to survive is now available from Newmedia Publishing as a book, audio ebook CD, and free web edition on newmediapublishing.com.

July 7, 2003, New York, NY USA  -- Newmedia Publishing announced today at the Small Press Center the release of From Love to Triumph, Susan Kaszas's authentic diary of undying love for her husband, Alex, amidst the horrors of the Holocaust. The first edition of her book was published in 1999 under the A Mother's Shoah title.

Booby Trapped book cover

In her epic love story Susan Kaszas describes, with touching directness, what it feels like to be taken from one's family, to be beaten, cursed at, poisoned, and to witness unspeakable, systematic cruelty. But the hardest aspect of her personal and collective hell was being separated from her one love, her husband, Alex.
From Love to Triumph is a love letter to Alex, with whom she was finally reunited after the war ended.

It is this love that persists throughout her writing, as the unbreakable golden thread that binds her to life when she is tempted to escape into suicide. The total devotedness of her heart to Alex gave her the strength to survive the Nazi death camp and munition factory where she was a slave laborer. The faithfulness of her undying love shines through: "My Dear Alex, you must know that I can't live without love and the only reason I am still alive is that I want to be with you again in this life. If you love me as much as I love you, then my suffering was not in vain."

The author teaches men to use their brains first to recognize the unsuitable mates who make up the Dirty Seven Sisters. To better illustrate each type, she includes celebrity examples, such as Angelina Jolie, Anna Nicole Smith, Brooke Shields, Cher, Dr. Laura, Jennifer Lopez, Joan Crawford, Julia Roberts, Kate Moss, Kathy Lee Gifford, Lorena Bobbit, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Marilyn Monroe, Meg Ryan, Melanie Griffith, Mia Farrow, Monica Lewinsky, Naomi Campbell, Tonya Harding, and many more.

Love is something that cannot be killed. The body can be crushed, the psyche can be beaten down, but nothing can take love away from the human heart against one's will. That is the meaning and purpose of Susan's survival and triumph, so eloquently expressed in the diary she wrote after she had been liberated by US troops in Germany.

Photographs from the U.S. National Archives, images of paintings from David Olere, and scanned images of the original diary pages bring true historical depth and visual impact to this edition. The "Credits, Copyrights and Links" page at the end of the book lists and connects directly to similar web sites all over the world.

The book with the audio ebook CD is available directly from the publisher as well as leading distributors, such as Blackwell's, Baker & Taylor's Yankee Book Peddler division, and the Midwestern Library Service. The web edition can be viewed free at:
